Phillippa Lusty

With her unique style and smooth sounds, singer-songwriter Phillippa Lusty writes songs that are an engaging mixture of new age and soothing melodies. Her haunting vocals blend with soaring harmonies, while her arrangements and covers include music of Kate Bush and Enya.

Phillippa has trained classically for many years in both violin and voice, and has completed her BMus(Hons)  degree at Royal Holloway University of London, specializing in vocal performance and composition.

Previously a full music scholar at the internationally acclaimed Wells Cathedral School, Phillippa is a highly accomplished singer, violinist, composer and arranger. She has performed both nationally and internationally, including The Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham NIA, The Eden Project and the exclusive ship; The World.

She is gaining an international reputation as a singer and musical arranger, having been invited to sing at concerts in Italy, Germany and Belgium and Asia. She has appeared on numerous radio stations, and was a finalist in Classic FM's national talent search. Her song ‘Words Unspoken’ reached the finals for the UK Songwriting contest. Whilst still at university, Phillippa co-wrote the soundtrack to a British feature film and appeared as a guest artist in the World Of Dance competition alongside a well-known independent hip hop artist.

She has performed personally for many high profile people including Gina Rinehart, the board for Australia’s Roy Hill Project, Samsung’s CEO in South Korea, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, and H. E. Sheikh Ghassan I.

In a review by Paul Donovan of the Sunday Times: “If I had to pick out only one act, it would be a singer who introduces herself as “Phillippa from Cornwall” and has one of the most angelic voices I have ever heard.”
